I'm an endangered species.

[fact or fiction:] I am of Native American and Scottish descent. I was born sometime between the reign of Reagan and the death of Gia Carangi. If you can't figure out when, then it's a simple task of subtracting my supposed age here from the year it is now. Or perhaps for those lesser inclined to mathmatics I should simplify things by making a sly literary reference to the writings of George Orwell, unless of course, your literary interests don't venture past Cosmo and Sports Illustrated, then you might not be concerned in the least with totalitarianism and dystopia. To each his/her own.

I certainly can't expect everyone to be a part of my brave new world that advocates the hope that in the future the presidential chair will be battled out in a fierce game of scrabble. Then, never again will I have to hear the president say, "deparitive" instead of imperative and I would bask in the sunshine of a brighter future where nuclear weapons were only possessed by people who could pronounce the word correctly. At least then, perhaps, when our country had a horrific natural disaster that left thousands drowning we could rest easy knowing our leader wasn't learning how to read a book upsidedown from five year olds and so forth for two days while corpses floated and rats feasted. Oh, what a day that would be!
